Bomar® UV/EB curable resins from are designed to provide film-forming, tack-free coatings with extreme flexibility and toughness, ideally suited for hybrid nail polish coatings. Their film-forming properties allow them to be used as a flexible backbone of a traditional solvent-based coating, while their reactive functionality provides an option for secondary ambient or UV-light curing to enhance their properties.
These polyurethane methacrylate resins have superior flexibility over cellulose resins and can be used to replace materials like TSF, DBP, or other plasticizers and adhesion promoters in hybrid nail polishes. They offer excellent adhesion, easy removal, inherent toughness, and fast dry times.
